While I really like the FIAMM Freeway Blaster, the description is pretty misleading. The horn gets 5 stars, the ad one, averages to three. One of the descriptions writes "high or low tone (one or two terminals)" That's totally wrong. The 72112 is only the low tone. If you want the high tone you need the 72102. When they write one or two terminals, that has nothing to do with the high or low tone. And since you can't return this item, I'm stuck. I bought four, two for each of my bikes. Now I have to re-order two 72102's - there goes the free shipping. One other point says "Universal or right angle bracket". I installed both this and its cousin the FIAMM 72102 12 V High Note One & Two Term. / Universal Bracket in my 2010 Toyota 4Runner and all is well... just plug and play with the existing 10 amp circuit. I initially bought the Stebel Nautilus Compact Air Horn for my motorcyle and wired it with a relay so that my existing horn would still be able to sound with the the air horn. I was terribly disappointed with the volume of the Stebel. Maybe it was a defective unit but I purchased the high and low volume Freeway Blasters from Fiamm and used the same relay setup. I could not be more pleased with the sound and volume of the Fiamms. The first time I let my son hear my new horns he jumped back at least a foot and I thought he was going to fall down. He was aware I was going to blow my motorcycle horn, he was just not aware of how loud it was going to be. It is much easier to install than the Stebel and there are more mounting options. The Stebel has to be mounted within 15 degrees of vertical or it will not work very long. The Fiamms are more forgiving. |
